Coyote Gulch

This hike is on my top ten list for sure!

Breathtaking!

We started at Forty Mile Ridge - Not quite 40 miles down Hole in the Rock Road.

Kaiparowits Plateau in the distance

We descended down to the gulch from "Crack in the Wall"

Overlooking the Escalante River and Stevens Arch (look closely to see the arch above the river.)

Panorama of the Escalante just before it meets Lake Powell

Zoomed in on Stevens Arch

Spring coming out of the canyon wall

We took a shower here

And it just kept getting better

My feet - trying to stay cool in a hot tent

Getting water from a spring

Full moon above Jacob Hamblin Arch

Bryce under the arch

Hiking out the next day - it was a very steep ascent

Looking down on Coyote Gulch - just east of Hamblin Arch

The Bicknell Burger never tasted so good!
