Green Monster to Grove Creek and a Spectacular View of the Largest American Flag Ever to Fly, 5.2

Big thanks to an awesome group of trail runners who introduced me to this enormous flag hanging high above Grove Creek Canyon
Here's some video footage I captured of this impressive flag waving in the canyon wind

We ran north from Grove Creek to the "Green Monster" and then back to a fantastic view of Grove Creek Canyon and the flag

Me, Matt, Nathan - making our way up the steep Green Monster

Taking a break on our way up the Green Monster. This is the half-way mark of the Timp Trail Marathon that Sean did last month.

The flag danced for us in the canyon wind.  It was quite a magnificent sight!
