Trails Before Dawn

 The first thing Dennis did to celebrate his 51st birthday was to run 9.5 miles over Powerhouse Mountain!  Happy Birthday Dennis!!!   Running into the sun  We came down Pole Heaven and turned right on Left Fork Hobble Creek  Home Stretch - past Hobble Creek Golf Course Another Great morning!

Mission Peak I had a couple of hours this morning before catching a flight back home from San Jose, California. Thanks to the front desk guy for recommending this spectacular trail. It was a very steep climb - over 2,000 feet in 3.3 miles.  The last section is steep and rocky.  Luis, a local trail runner, heading down.  The end in sight Scary!!!  Almost stepped on this diamond back while running back down.   A few bonus pics from yesterday's meeting at Google HQ  I would love to ride this 8 man bike.  It looks like all 8 riders peddle and one steers.  Looked at this ad to see what a small 3 bedroom home costs in San Jose.  Just 2 millions bucks. Finally, one of the things I liked most about my visit to Google - the warm toilet seat, and it cleans and dries too!!! It was very apparent that we were on the Google campus.
